2022 GOLD Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine is a true testament to the incredible depth of flavor that can be achieved in a vintage more suited to Hades than Napa on account of the incredible marine influence we receive from the San Pablo Bay. This particular block of Cabernet was like a Bralizian sunbathing beauty, who not only gained depth of color but an ethereal quality from the ocean breezes, even on the hottest days.  The aromatics are the purest expression of the grapes we grow, with ripe blueberries nuanced with mint, sage and sweet vanilla.  Surprisingly mineral driven, the palate reverberates with layers of dark black cherry carried by a hefty dose of perfectly integrated tannins.  A special salinity that lingers for what seems like minutes on the finish.
