2022 PLATINUM Cabernet Sauvignon

An expressive vixen that makes you work for her affection at the start but leaves you wanting more, more, more with every sip. A shapeshifter of a wine that continues to evolve and unfold in the most evocative and mouthwatering of ways, it’s both elegant and opulent with an extraordinary purity of Cabernet that’s only possible to achieve with certain vineyards, and by those at the height of their craft. Effusively floral aromatics lead to a dark and brooding inner core that comes directly from John’s favorite barrel of Cab from the vintage. Absolutely enormous with girth and heft, it quickly expands across the palate into a decadent flavor bomb of blackberries, cassis and oak spice. A healthy dose of the 2023 block 18 [Clone 338]  provides a precision and minerality that perfects the length and finish.
